Houston ISD parents protest amid district-wide job cuts, campus leadership changes
Protesters outside Meyerland Performing and Visual Arts Middle School were particularly upset about the treatment of campus principal Auben Sarabia, who they say was given the option to resign or be terminated. Last year, Sarabia was selected as HISD's Middle School Principal of the Year.
